Kaylie Babcock
Mental Health Facilitator & Assisted Learning Assistant
Kaylie grew up on Vancouver Island, where she spent most of her life before making the big move to Chetwynd in 2020. She brings a rich and varied background in Psychology, Mental Health, and Addictions work and education to Peace Equine Connections. While Kaylie has loved horses for as long as she can remember, she is relatively new to the program and is dedicated to gaining more skills and experience in equine care and riding. She describes working alongside horses as a childhood dream come true!
Her favorite part of Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) is witnessing the universal love and respect horses receive from both participants and facilitators. The experience is grounding and unifying for everyone involved, creating an incredible atmosphere of connection and growth.
Outside of EAL, Kaylie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking (she loves trying new recipes!), and staying active—often by hiking with her dog.
We are so lucky to have Kaylie as part of the team!
